A Modern Chinese-Vietnamese Wedding Inspired By Art and Culture
Major #destinationwedding inspo today! We’re sharing Jamie and Jeremy’s multicultural celebration filled with jaw dropping floral and art-inspired designs. The couple chose the period architecture of Ho Chi Minh Museum of Fine Art for an intimate, floral-filled ceremony. Royal Swans transformed the courtyard with rich greenery and pops of colour and surprised the couple with a romantic, floral moment in a private gallery for their first look!
Guests then proceeded to the Park Hyatt Saigon where they were greeted with a specially designed welcome area (and photo op!) inspired by the layering used in traditional Chinese paintings. The light color palette acted as the perfect decoy, throwing everyone off what was to come – a dramatic, deep red reception, complete with hanging installations inspired by the patterns and fabric used in lanterns from the ancient town of Hôi An (a special request from the couple!).
Mountain layers are the main feature of this creation, in which a Chinese painting was brought to life, creating a layered experience for guests to be “in” – NGUYEN THI MY DUNG, FOUNDER/DIRECTOR AT ROYAL SWANS
